The best kathak dancers have technique that is invisible: meaning it appears effortless, joyful and passionate. How to get there? This FUN multi-level class will drill on technique and application, while helping you get in the physical condition kathak demands! 

Tuesday 6:00 pm- Advanced class (by invitation only)    Joanna

Joanna draws on her extensive training and performance experience to give deeper understanding to the kathak form. Different taals , body vocabulary potentials and both traditional and innovative kathak material will be explored and developed. 

Tuesday 7:30 pm - Intermediate 3/4 Classes     Amrit

A perfect class to further develop technique, material and a deeper understanding for the kathak form- Designed for those who want to take kathak further and attend multiple classes/week.

SATURDAY -  Central Tech School

9:30-10:45 am  Continuing Beginner 2/3 Level     Joanna/Aarti

This class continues to build on the kathak material from 2025. No inexperienced students will be added to this cohort.

10:45 am-12:15 pm  Intermediate 4           Joanna/Aarti

Building on kathak technique, material, understanding and stamina. New taals will be introduced in this class

12:15 pm-1:45 pm    Intermediate 2           Joanna/Aarti.

Continues to build  on kathak technique introduced in 2025, with an aim to increase understanding and rhythmic ease.
